THE FIRST THING I NOTICED ABOUT MY CHRISTINE WAS HER BEAUTIFUL SHINNING WHITE TEETH SET IN HER LOVABLE CHEEKY SMILE! AND THOSE BRIGHT CLEAR BLUEY-GREY EYES,WOW!! SO WARM AND GENTLE. SO BEAUTIFULL, SO VERY PERFECT!! THAT WAS AT THE END OF AUGUST 1987,OUR FIRST MEET!! WE HAD BEEN TOGETHER FROM THAT DAY UNTIL THE DAY SHE WAS TAKEN FROM ME AND OUR DAUGHTERS ON THE 4TH OF SEPTEMBER 2008.
CHRISTINE CAME HOME FROM WORK ( SHE WORKED AT THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND INTERNATIONAL FOR THE LAST 24 YRS)AROUND 5 PM ON THE 2ND OF SEPTEMBER FEELING "NOT TOO GOOD". BY 10PM THAT NIGHT SHE WAS FEELING WORSE SO WE DECEIDED TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL .SHE WAS ADDMITTED THAT NIGHT WITH A "SLIGHT CHEST INFECTION!?!?". CHRISTINE NEVER CAME HOME.SHE DIED AT AROUND MIDNIGHT ON THE 4/9/2008 FROM PNEUMONIA COMPLICATIONS...
I HAVE NEVER MET A PERSON LIKE CHRISTINE, SHE WAS SO GOOD, KIND AND WONDERFULL, SO VERY DELIGHTFUL,VERY SINCERE AND HONEST.CHRISTINE WAS A FREE SPIRT INFLUANCED BY NOTHING BUT THE STAR SHE FOLLOWED,AND THAT STAR WAS SO VERY BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL,PURE AND UNBLEMISHED!!
CHRISTINE WAS ALSO A LOVELY CARING WOMEN WHO FOUND GOODNESS IN EVERYONE SHE MET AND SHE GENERATED THAT GOODNESS BACK FROM THEM. SHE WAS VERY VERY UNIQUE. HER FRIENDSHIPS LASTED FOREVER AND WAS GENUINE AND DEEP. SHE FREELY GAVE HER PERSONALITY TO ALL. SHE WAS SO FUNNY AND WITTY AND HAD THIS CRAZY INFECTIOUS LAUGH THAT MADE YOU LOVE TO HEAR IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. ME AND THE GIRLS WOULD HOLD HER DOWN AND TICKLE HER TO MAKE CHRISTINE LAUGH,WE WOULD DO ANYTHING JUST TO HEAR THAT CRAZY WONDERFUL LAUGH! NEYSA,OUR YOUNGEST HAS THE SAME LAUGH,SO DOES HER MOTHER BETTY!!!!
CHRISTINE WAS QUITE LAID BACK AND EASY GOING,GENTLE AND SOMETIMES TIMID.CHRISTINE COULD ALSO BE FIRM AND DIRECT AND WAS SUCH A PILLAR OF PURE STRENGH WHEN NEED BE .SHE WAS OUR ROCK ! SHE STOOD ALONG SIDE ME AND OUR GIRLS ALWAYS AND NEVER FAULTED ONCE!!
WITH BLINDING FAITH AND TRUST SHE WOULD PROP US UP AND DUST US DOWN TO FIGHT ANOTHER BATTLE !! SHE WAS THE PERFECT MOTHER AND WIFE!!!
CHRISTINE NEVER EVER UTTERED A BAD WORD TOWARDS ANYONE OR ANYTHING,SHE ALWAYS SAW THE BEST IN PEOPLE.
OUR TWO DAUGHTERS TOTALLY ADORED HER AND SHE WORSHIPED THEM FULLY.THOSE TWO GIRLS WERE HER LIFE AS SHE WAS THEIRS.CHRISTINE LOVED TO GET INVOLVED IN THEIR YOUNG LIVES,THEY TOLD EACH OTHER EVERYTHING.SHE LOVED BEING THEIR MOTHER,AND THEY LOVED HAVING HER AS THEIR MOTHER.THEIR BOND WAS SO BEUATIFUL.SHE WOULD LOVE TO CHAT WITH MICA,OUR OLDEST,AND HER MATES AND GET ALL THE TEENAGE GOSSIP,I THINK SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS STILL A TEENAGER!! LOL.
THE PAIN IN OUR GIRLS HEARTS FROM LOSING THEIR BELOVED "MAM" IS THERE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.IT IS SO VERY VERY SAD AND UNFAIR AND WRONG..
I NEVER KNEW SUCH WARMTH , KINDNESS AND LOVE EXSISTED IN ONE HEART BUT IT DID IN MY CHRISTINE.SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PERSON! ALWAYS HAPPY AND CONTENTED WITH WHAT SHE HAD!
CHRISTINE NEVER DESERVED TO PASS OVER LIKE SHE DID,SO SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTED,NO TIME FOR GOODBYES AND KISSES. SO VERY VERY CRUEL AND UNFAIR.
IT IS TRUE THE GOOD DO DIE YOUNG,CERTAINLY IN MY CHRISTINES CASE!
EVERYTHING WE ARE IS THROUGH HER LOVE,GUIDEANCE HER TRUST.
I KNOW THAT I WILL NEVER EVER HAVE A LOVE LIKE CHRISTINE AND I SHARED, BECAUSE TO HAVE BEEN LOVED BY THIS WOMAN WAS SO VERY VERY MAGICAL AND WILL LAST WITH ME UNTILL WE ARE UNITED ONCE AGAIN!
I KNOW THAT I AM SO VERY LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN LOVED AND HONOURED BY CHRISTINE FOR THOSE 21 YRS WE HAD TOGETHER,YET HER PASSING ON HAS DESTOYED ME BECAUSE I CANT HAVE ANOTHER 21YRS WITH HER. NOT YET!!!
I TALK TO CHRISTINE EVERY SINGLE DAY AND CAN SENCE HER PRESANCE AND I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING JUST TO BE ABLE TO KISS AND SMELL HER AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.JUST TO LOOK IN HER EYES AS SHE LAUGHS HER CRAZY LAUGH AS SHE TEASES THE GIRLS AND THEN THE GIRLS TEASE HER BACK.JUST TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE JOY OF THE THREE OF THEM ALL TOGETHER.A LOVING FAMILY! TO BE ABLE TO TELL HER ONE MORE TIME WHAT SHE MEANT TO US. JUST TO BE ABLE TO THANK HER FOR GIVING HERSELF TO US UNRESERVEDLY AND FOREVER! IF I COULD DO THAT IT WOULD BE SO BEAUTIFUL AND FULLFILLING.....
I KNOW THAT CAN NEVER BE.AND LIFE HAS TO GO ON.AND I AM TRYING SO VERY HARD TO FIND A WAY THROUGH THIS MADNESS. I KNOW THAT OUR TWO GIRLS LOOK TO ME FOR STRENGH AND GUIDANCE. I ALSO KNOW THAT I WILL OFTEN MAKE MISTAKES AS I TRY TO CARVE OUT ANOTHER PATH FOR US TO FOLLOW. BUT I AM WILLING TO MAKE THESE MISTAKES HOPEING THAT ONE DAY I CAN GIVE OUR GIRLS HOPE AND SHOW THEM THAT THERE IS A FUTURE FOR THEM. IT WILL TAKE TIME THAT I KNOW,BUT WE WILL GET THERE, WE HAVE TO!!! THATS WHAT CHRISTINE WOULD WANT!
SHE WILL BE TELLING ME WHILST LAID BACK ON HER FAVOURITE COUCH ,PJ,S ON,COFFEE IN HAND "TO FIND A WAY THROUGH THIS WHAT EVER IT TAKES!! JUST GET MY GIRLS THROUGH THIS!!!"
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY CHRISTINE TO THE END OF MY DAYS.SHE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME TOTALLY.SHE IS MY SOULMATE AND YOU ONLY NEED ONE.SHE IS THE BEST PART OF ME AND WILL ALWAYS BE NO MATTER WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR ME AND OUR GIRLS.WE WILL FOREVER HONOUR HER MEMORY AND HOLD HER TIGHTLY IN OUR HEARTS AS SHE BELONGS TO US AS WE BELONG TO HER..R.I.P.OUR DARLING CHRISTINE-A MOST WONDERFUL WIFE AND MOTHER.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
CHRISTINE IS NOW REUNITED WITH OUR LITTLE DAUGHTER CARA WHO PASSED OVER AGED 3 DAYS,HER GRANMOTHER JEANIE AND LATELY HER UNCLE ROBERT. ALSO MY MOTHER PAULINE, MY STEPDAD ORVILLE, MY BROTHER MARVIN AND MY LITTLE NEPHEW FINLEY, WHO LIKE MY CARA PASSED OVER IN HIS FIRST MONTH OF LIFE.
I KNOW THEY ARE ALL IN A SAFE PLACE AND I KNOW HEAVEN IS THAT PLACE BECAUSE HEAVEN IS THE PLACE WHERE THEY WILL BE MAKING A HOME FOR US WHEN WE ARE REUNITED ONCE AGAIN......

I believe in angels,
And I believe in fairies, too,
They're not one and the same, you know,
They are distinctly two.

Angels are within the heart,
Fairies ... in the mind,
Angels ... always there to care,
Fairies ... just sometimes.

Fairies like to tease and play,
They dance and entertain,
They tickle chins and noses,
Like bubbles in champagne.

Angels are more serious,
They do heavy-duty things,
Like easing fears and wiping tears,
And hugging with their wings.

Angels are assigned by God,
They very rarely show,
Fairies oft are seen in dreams,
And, at will, they come and go.

Fairies live in fantasies,
They are wee, tiny things,
They flit about erratically,
On dainty gossamer wings.

Angels, though, are very real,
They come in different sizes,
Large, medium, small, petite,
It's hard to recognize them.

Fairies make all people smile,
Young and old alike,
To see one bathing in the dew,
Is a pure delight.

Angels, on the other hand,
May fill our eyes with tears;
We're overwhelmed with gratitude,
They've watched over us for years.

When we've been saved from trouble,
It's not coincidence,
God's placed angels in our path,
To stand up in our defence.

Fairies offer fun and frolic,
Both to small folk and full-grown,
But when people's lives are over,
Then angels take them home.

God's angels and earth's fairies,
I think are quite essential,
They surely are related,

Heaven's a place we all hope to see,
a place where our spirit is strong and so free,
if heaven's a place, and our loved ones are there,

The sound is like music to my ears
and it makes my heart sing

When loneliness and emptiness
bring not a sound to hear
You know exactly what I need

I can almost feel "The Flutter Of Your Wings"
Their feathery touch is like magic
and much peace and comfort it brings

Imagine if you would, the clouds floating by,
They are not really clouds, but angels in the sky.
With beautiful smiles upon all of their lips,
They drink from the fountain of life with refreshing sips.
And imagine the glows on each smiling face,
Because there is no hatred up there not even a trace.
They have golden halos atop glimmering hair,
Plucking stars from the heavens to use for their chairs
They wear gowns made of stardust trimmed in silver and gold,
Each one is ageless living in a home where they never grow old.
Do not be surprised when the clouds are not clouds any more,
But the angels sent by Jesus to hold open heavens door
Smiling as they say, "Jesus wants you to come in,"
"He loves you so much He died for your sins."
Are you looking at the clouds as they slowly float by?
Hey! Those aren't really clouds, they're angels in the sky!
